~*~ The Crib ~ Dedicated to Sams3d ~*~
================================ Hello everyone, I'm not an abstract artist, but I'm over the moon with this new package that was created by Sams3d. Simply because it is such an absolute need for my up and coming scenes. This particular abstract piece came about as my husband entered the room hearing my growl of frustration because I simply could not get my lights working for me. He pulled up a chair and give me a lesson in lights. What I've been fighting with for 2 and a half years to try and get an understanding to, he came in and showed me in fifteen minutes. He's a lights man and a photography, never done anything with Poser or Daz, but he knew and understood the rigging of lights. I love this man!!! I was over the moon, and what I've learned from him, I'm putting to work in the up and coming renders, but I could not waste this one. I dedicate it with many thanks to one of my most favorite merchants, SAMS3D - your works and contributions to the world of 3D is simply OUTSTANDING! Many 3D scenes with this package... to come! The room, and the crib came with loads of furniture. So room & crib are from the Slumber Land Nursery. P.S. Post worked in PSPX adding a bit of artistic clarification and brush stroke to give it a more art like appearance. ================================ Copyright

Wow,looks very much like a painting! And PLEEEESE can you share those lighting tips with us?(Maeve panting like a drooling dog here!) I like the atmosphere you created here too, just a crib, an open door and a light or two can say so much! Great job! Maeve

Outstanding image. Sometimes I have to refer to my spouse who has had some professional art training to have her critique my lighting and composition.

Well this is really something different for you, as you said and I like it very much. I agree that it looks like a painting and a painting would not necessarily have a 3-D look to it, so it might appear to some as flat, but I believe that you've done a great job.....cudo's to your hubby for the lessons.....when can I borrow him? LOL kidding, kidding.

Very haunting! It borders just on the edge of scary, but leans just into the realm of sorrow and the merciless passing of time. It feels like an old room no longer used, either from loss or the kids are gone, but it strikes deep into the heart. Very moving, Mercedes. Be proud! The lighting is fantastic! Your husband really knows his stuff. You nailed it, especially with the window shadow. :)

Funny you should sat that, we're now getting ready to invest in a poster printer, or rather an A2 printer. They're very costly, but worth it. Another one of hubbies ideas. This way, we can decorate our walls with OUR artwork. All that would be needed doing - is making the frames, which is easy enough, because he's also a carpenter. Imagine the gifts one could give of their own artwork framed and ready to go?
