Description

Hope you all had a good weekend! This is an older shot of a Mayfly from last Spring that I have been saving. It reminds me that we are approaching a new Spring and that as much as I like the Winter we have much to look forward to in the new Season. Many thanks to all for viewing and commenting on my last image.

That's some macro, with the insect enveloped in an green amorphous ambiance. Pretty good shot, there! BTW, I believe the life span of a mayfly is a mere 24 hours....just something I heard on a TV nature show.
