Description

Wanted to try this one again. Gonna have to make it a point to check my images with *good vision* (ahem). :D Little story. I'm kinda glad to be able to even see after today. No - I'm REAL glad. I have a couple of jobs. One is on a loading dock for a freight company. Anyway... I do this every day, and it is usually very safe. Freight is secured to these large "pallets" we call "cookie sheets" (cuz we fantasize about giant cookies!!! No really they look like huge baking sheets) with rope nets and each has numerous metal locks and hooks. Today, as usual, one of the hooks snagged whilst throwing the net over the freight. I tugged at it, it caught on a box, I tugged harder, and FLIP - metal right into my face. About 1/2 inch below my eye. WOW! I kept workin, cuz it's got to be done. People kept asking me "dude, what happened to your face" - which is actually a pretty common question as I have a rather grotesque monstrosity of a mug (see my avatar Bwa Ha!). Eventually enough people mentioned it was bleeding. So I checked it out in the bathroom. Yeah. Real glad to still have my eye. So I can keep ogglin nekkid pichers! WEE! Thanks everyone, your advice on "less bump/disp" is spot on!

Excellent image! So glad to hear you didn't hurt yourself to much. Your such a trooper for still working. Im such a baby I would have crying and screaming all over the place. LOL Guess that would have looked real wimpy for a guy to do that but still such an entertaining thought.....Shannon ;} 5++++++ fav artist

I didn't think you could make this better--but it is--the skin is perfect! btw I had an artist acquaintance lose one eye from having a pair of pliers catch on a moving piece of equipment and whack him, much as you did--go to Lowe's and get some of their cool new polycarbonate glasses--they aren't your dad's work goggles anymore:-) and anytime you are in an industrial setting stuff happens.

Holy crap! You could have lost your eye!!! May sound stupid to you but think of it as a warning. I find that something similar will happen soon so you need to be prepared....put some safety glasses on for week, would ya? Please? I thought the first was excellent but she looks more sultry here!
