Description

Miki2 and texture by Mint, shader modified by me, based on face_off ideas, hair is from Yulan by outoftouch, and background from tonyhaginteriors, free here at renderosity. In rendering, I did not check "smooth polygons" just to see if what I saw in the wireframe was really as cool as it seemed. Sure enough, renders much smoother. Jagged edges on the forearm there are from my poor destruction of the jpg. I really like the new version of Miki... In some ways because the greatest things about the first figure are still here; that is the overall shape, the head and face, and there is some subtle improvement in the dreadful forearms. It's really irrational, but Miki is still quite my favorite figure ;D One major plus for Miki2 -- takes just about any pose, with very little tweaking, esp from V3. I have no idea why this is. Above is a very slightly modified pose from DM Pose Boutique 3. COOl! Also - fantastic clothes from runtimedna.com, the REBEL set :D:D: The pants are HOT!

Excellent render. I've wanted to get her into my runtime for a while now, and the release of Miki 2 has made me want her even more. I may not be able to upgrade the computer or move up to Poser 6 or 7 just yet (probably not for quite some time), but adding yet another figure to my collection, I think I can swing that. And maybe I'll actually use her instead of letting her sit in my runtime unused for who knows how long.

I was counting the seconds to see how long it took you to render Miki2 once I saw it was out. You've done a wonderful job. Turan

wow, the image is incredible. and the skin shader looks very good. her saturated hues really make her stand out from the background. i love how she's appropriately shadowed by the light from behind her. and miki 2.0 just looks wonderful.

Fabulous... and for all her faults... lrge hands included... she still has one of the most versatile faces I've ever used. I love your blurred background and table shininess... EXCELLENT!

Well, you have made Miki one of my favorite characters too! This one is no exception. Glad to hear the scoop on Miki2.... they didn't need to change her face, so that's cool. Also I like the idea of the taking V3 poses... got a butload of those...
