I am a 45 year old male from Texas. I love the outdoors and everything to do with them. From hunting and fishing to camping and just sitting and enjoying a sunset. I do some writing and that was my first outlet for my creativity. However recently through the urging of someone who is very special to me I began to work on trying to capture some of the amazing images which are presented to me here in Texas. I am still trying to learn the nuances of my camera and some of the tricks which can be used to produce some beautiful images.
I use a nikon coolpix p2 camera.

Thank you all for your comments. I am sorry for being delayed in my thanks, but me and my kids were at my Moms house this past few days celebrating her birthday. This particular type of pecan is the papershell pecan. I am very lucky in that behind my office we have about 10 native pecans and a couple of papershells. Many mornings I would take a cup of coffee and go gather a handfull of pecans and have a mid morning treat. When the figs ripen this year I plan to also get a shot of those as well. They are in my yard and many mornings I would go pull some off for breakfast. Once moe thank you all for your comments.
