I am a 45 year old male from Texas. I love the outdoors and everything to do with them. From hunting and fishing to camping and just sitting and enjoying a sunset. I do some writing and that was my first outlet for my creativity. However recently through the urging of someone who is very special to me I began to work on trying to capture some of the amazing images which are presented to me here in Texas. I am still trying to learn the nuances of my camera and some of the tricks which can be used to produce some beautiful images.
I use a nikon coolpix p2 camera.

This is a fascinating subject! I love the tangle of twigs, and the mottled bark. I can't wait to see the seasons reflected in this tree. That sky is also remarkable!

The tree is gorgeous but I'm more impressed with the deep blue sky. Great shot.

I have a lenticular based photo of a tree on my wall at work, and as you walk by it, the different angles show it green, in fall colors, and no leaves. If you take the same picture at different times, and put them together in an animated GIF, you could do the same thing. Sounds like an interesting project.
