Description

It's a jungle in there! I used a 50mm SLR lens (that came stock with my Pentax K-1000 rig) backward and in front of the G2 in macro mode to get this extreme close up of a clump of moss that I brought in from outside. It was a very difficult shot to get because there is no physical attachment between the two lenses. They had to be lined up on a flat surface, and then the subject had to be moved back and forth to get it in frame and focus. Lots of vignetting too. Post work consisted of very mild unsharp masking, and radical cropping, in The Gimp.
