I just do not know I just went there and my spy ware block me because of a bad sypware is on that page so watch out the first link I went too on this page

YOu are pretty brave to look around on the Russian sites--sometimes they come with extras;-( I have started putting a line of copy across my fave pictures saying that they are "being displayed at Renderosity", so if they get "borrowed" it will be obvious they were stolen. It's not a perfect solution but it's something, I guess! I love what you do with the Girl--she has the best expressions!

Well I went through most of his site and found my work there too plus tons of work by other artist that I know personally...and you're right, He uses our titles and leaves our sigs on them...Would you mind terrible if I pass on what you have written here to other artists as I comment on their work and also post it on my work tonight, I will paste exactly what you told us here and give you credit but I think the more artist we can have making complaints about their stolen work, the better chance we stand...it's up to you hun, I'll do nothing till I hear from you...thank you so much for the info.

To my they also stole me two images the same as to Antonio(Drakelot), Jeff had already warned me of that Russian address, and Arbelain had also counted it to me. Let us wait that they end this type of stolen , it is a direct violation to the author's copyrights.

I am been watching this whole stolen image controversy and haven't voiced my opinion, because this story is very old. Once an image gets uploaded to the net, it becomes available to everyone with a computer. Putting watermarks, and copyrights only slow down the amatuer. A person with talent, and determination can remove them without any indication that they were ever there. I've seen it done. At least the thief in question has left your signatures and watermarks to identify you as being the artist. I don't read russian, so I don't know if the thief claims to be the artist. I think this site is just a place where people can post images that they like. The artists who have had their works uploaded there have to contact the owners of the site and let them know that they want them to be removed. If that doesn't work then you need to find where it is hosted and complain to them. I know it sucks to have your works posted elsewhere, but you can use it to your advantage. You can add a URL to the image and give yourself free advertising.
