Description

These are stills collected from my Aterial Truths a "gothic surreal vampire short movie" that has a dreamlike quality that can be viewed at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmGv-8q9LCo (And if you enjoy it, please take a moment to give it a rating at the YouTube site -- thanks.) And if YouTube doesn't work for you, there's a slightly blurry version of it at: Google Movies that might work. I used some of my best illustrations in creating this, as well as creating a few new characters for this. There is some animation here and there, but most is "camera work" to create the illusion of moment. One bit of animation I am proud of is the flickering flame and dripping candle wax at the beginning and end... done in Photo Paint (normally not considered for animation, I know). I also did the soundtrack (which is sadly mixed to mono at YouTube). I'll post a better quality version of this music later at my web site so it can be heard in its stereophonic glory :o) Thanks for taking the time to visit. Comments and suggestions (outside of the "jump in a lake" variety) are aways welcome.

A terrific collection, Duncan. Of course, my eye caught the slender gent with the Stradivarius! :0)

Thanks for the comments... The "thin" violin player is a bit of a salute to Saint-Sas' Danse Macabre with the soundtrack mimicking the "tuning" that introduces Death's playing in the classical piece.

I like this, unfortunately it won't play (the video) on my comp, something about flash but I have it and updated as well ... :( Your pics here are superb, the one that draws my eye is the lower left, the shape, the colors, wonderfully macabre... Perfect work ...
