Description
Shot taken last Saturday. High on West Cliff, towering above Whitby Harbour, stands this monument to Captain James Cook. A navigator and explorer. Cook discovered the Islands of Hawaii on his ship The Resolution. I think this is an appropriate view of his monument, as Cook is looking out to sea.
