Description
Shot taken this afternoon. I had been shopping for groceries in Whitby, I dropped off at the Abbey for a walk in the sunshine on my way home. It was so cold up there but still nice to be out in the air. Have a wonderful eventime. Hugs. Diane.

This is a superb shot of the best remains of the old abbey. Nice light and shadows too. The quality of construction is just staggering and from all those centuries ago. Just love those tall towers. I've never seen a better photo of Whitby Abbey. Bravo Di.

Good timing,like the way the low sun light has brought out the texture and colour of the stone work. Amazing how much of the Abbey is still standing.
