Thank you all for the flood of concerned e-mails inquiring after the health of the nearly drowned goose decoy.
In response, I am posting a photo I took of him a few days ago. As you can see, he is upright once more and languidly floating on calm waters. The only ill effects from his recent dunking seems to be a drooling problem... -----

Wonderful POV and excellent light. I am so happy your goose decoy didn't have any horrible side effects from nearly drowning. I am sure a light cloth dabbed in the correct place will take care of the drooling problem. :o) You have a great sense of humor, too.

Absolutely fantastic! I had to look really closely at this one - I thought he was floating in the sky - the reflection is so perfect! I love it when water shows up on capture like silk or velvet and this certainly has! Glad to hear he survived his little mis-hap though, despite the drooling :) xx
