Description
Bougainvillea always fascinates me with it's myriad of colours and the memories it evokes. One of my earliest memories of my grandparents home in Rundu, South West Africa (now Namibia) is of an enormous tree, sighing beneath the weight of a gigantic purple-flowered Bougainvillea bush.

I love bougainvillea too. They are delicate, and at the same time prolific. Your image is so inviting, warm and makes me think of sitting on a terrace with family, waiting for the meal that is almost ready. I think of the conversations under teh bougainvillea, the laughter, the teasing, and of course, the delicious food. This is what your beautiful image congers up in my mind, Denzil. Hugs, x:)

All of my favorite things in one image..the flowers, which remind me of Hawaii, the stone, rock, wood, wonderful graphics. I would like to sit in this image and enjoy looking for hours. Beautiful work Denzil!

As always it's equivocal (is that the right word) but less obviously so than is usual. The sense of perspective is emphasised by the sideways "V" pattern of the objects on the floor.
