Description

I think this little guy is a Hog Nosed Turtle. I was ready this time, I had my 50mm f/1.8 lens for low light shooting and my ISO cranked up to 1600. Him and his little friends kept going back and forth, back and forth. I easily took over a dozen shots, with just the tail showing, or a blurred shape for the head, then suddenly one comes out perfect. BTW, this was the first time I'd really used the 50mm lens and I loved it. I bought it specifically for low light shooting and initially had gotten frustrated because of the narrow depth of field, but once you've gotten used to this limitation it takes some amazing shots.
