Born in Hilo, Hawaii and class of '66, I became very active in Barbells, Judo and love striking the heavy/speed bag. I've learned to Rollerblade and bike ride which is a very health sport. But time doesn't stop for anyone including for me. So my good friend Dave aka punaguy got me started in taking pictures. I'm having fun taking pictures especially hiking the mountains. It does look to be "cooling off" from the other picture you uploaded. I bet your tenners are extra coated L .... Egads hope you stay safe ..I sure hope also that the lost doggie can be found and is not a victim of the lava

Looks like finely poured pahoehoe....should be done in a few hours....hope they find that dog, he doesn't have much of a chance alone in that spot....Aloha!

lol at first I tthought a dog fell in the lava and you took a photo of it[ that what I tought was on top of the lava]. I sorry for the lost dog and the lava looks very good as it moves
