Thanks for all the kind words & comments. @ Jeff the Atmos is mojo standard but I dropped the blue levels to 3 instead of 5. The balls use a material that is FG created using a similar method to how the terrian was formed. I chose the orbs as they were smooth in contrast to the block plane. In addition to the materials I then set a mid grey reflection on both of the material leaves used, so that a balance of reflection & materials could be achieved. Last night I pulled the camera in real tight to the RH orb & tried pulling a render JUST of the reflection to see what the results would be but after 14 hrs this morning it had only completed 3 blocks...so I canned it! I`ll be playing some more later with these shapes etc.. I have a few ideas that I want to incorporate & I may even be adding the FGs as Displacements / Terrains / Colour Mats to the freestuff when I have a compiled reasonable set. But at the moment I have a FG terrain that is looking really pleasing but needs some postworking for additional features (if I can pull it off) :-)

I will add again that the method for creating this terrain is widely available in the Mojoworld forums http://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/showthread.php?thread_id=2595821&page=1

mzedanh...no never a master only playing. Slav used 1d fractals in his cyber cities I just use a differing method using the same fractals.
