Description

AloooooooHa! Sup' all...just a follow up shot of the Hot Ponds I took the other day. This shot is from the ocean side where the inlet to the sea comes into these ponds to replenish and circulate thru the pond. I'm always a little bummed when I see it's going to rain while I'm shooting. But truth be told morning shooting with an overcast sunrise can be quite dramatic at times. I've learned to embrace this type of day, for sometimes it's just magical. Thanks for popping in and having a peek and for all you kind comments left on my last image from this pond. Hot damn is that Fri. I see already....I can smell the weekend...WoooHoooo! Aloha!

I think these were the same clouds that moved from your way towards me during my lava hike. I was sure it would rain but it just passed. Very nice capture of this area. Excellent job. Aloha

Alooooooooooooooooooha to you too Sir!!!! #:o) Graaaaand shot my man! The silky water combined with that ominious looking sky....is just amazing. And the tonal range of the palm trees are so impressive. I would love to see this shot printed out really huge and hung on my livingroom wall. Excellent work buddy! There are so many cool things to look at in this photo Dave, from the water to the rocks to tree and the sky. Very different, but it all works together beautifully! Aloha.

Hey! Where's my comment on this? I know I commented! Sigh. I think what I had said was that I really love the different elements in this, especially the way those black rocks look. Gorgeous and mood-iful shot, Dave. Sorry about this mess-up. Hope you're having a wonderful week.-M :^)
