Description

AlooooooooHa! Here's a shot from a popular salt water swimming hole sometimes called the "Hot Ponds". This pond is ocean feed by an inlet which circulates the water in the pond and is sucked back out. The depth in this pond is about 4 ft. which makes it a great place for little kids and senior citizens. Water temp is in the high 70's. I got here before sunrise because I wanted to capture it before anyone could swim in it. I really didn't want to ask people if I could take their picture...and most swimmers are even more intimidated in a bathing suit. Normally on the weekend this pond is packed with swimmers. At this time of the morning the older seniors come down and do some laps before it gets crowded. Such a nice place for them to swim, but a little too chilly this time of morning for me. So peaceful... Early risers get to see the world in a whole different way. I can see this shot as the first in a tryptich... kinda like what Norman Rockwell would do... Too cold for ya, eh? But the old timers can take it? lol ;)
