I bought a lavender plant last summer and it died in the heat wave, most unfortunately. I wish you much better luck with yours! I love lavender. And I also love this picture. It's a very bright and cheerful shot. :)

Nice shot, Rozanne. My mother-in-law's garden has hundreds of species, many self-seeded from all the birds that she feeds, all year round. She was worrying about her daffodils last week, only to remember that she had removed most of the bulbs last year, after my last weeding, and had stored them in her loft!! I had earlier been blamed for killing them this sel-same 'too-vigourous' weeding program last autumn. When I had my own garden I planted potatoes in one corner, only for them to end up in the other ( allegedly I had too-vigourous worms in my solid clay back garden.. ) Good luck with the lavendar. Regards, John.

When you try hard to grow something, it dies. When you leave it alone, it grows. Whats up with that? lol Beautiful capture. Aloha

Bellas flores ! Esto me recuerda que debo ir yo al garden center. Petunias y surfinias, todo lo dem se muere en el duro clima de la meseta castellana. Bonita foto Rozanne.
