Description

What more does she need? It, indeed, didn't turn out as photoreal as I'd hoped, but I think I'm just not there yet with my skillset. As a first shot, I'm not too disappointed. And it's still a birthday surprise, so don't tell her.. Not until after April, 1, anyway. Thanks to a couple of tutorials hosted here on Renderosity by Theta (Nicky) & Tevoboy, as well as Mark Gibbons, whose work is featured in the recently acquired "Digital Horror Art" book I got from the Marketplace, for a few tips to handle issues that have been driving me batty. As Medley suggested, the background needed darkening and an alternative has been accomplished. Thanks for taking the time.. EDIT: D'OH! Meant to include a thumbnail of my subject, not that you can really tell how poor-quality it was.. Damn water-damaged yearbook pic! heh heh
