Description
First day with my first D-SLR camera. I've got a looooooooooong way to go, but I think I will enjoy the ride. Of course, I've just quadrupled my tutorial reading load, but what can you do?
Shiva, who is rarely too shy for a good close-up, does seem a bit put off by the new, much larger protuberance of lens, but obviously not sufficiently apprehensive to ruin the pose...

Oh what a pretty kitty! My cats usually make a scowl if I try to take their pictures. This is a wonderful closeup for a first time with the new camera. I wish you many years of happy snapping!! ;o)
