Description
Sometimes the picture is closer than you expect. On this day I was prepared for more of a grand view, instead was faced with a finite beauty, something that I had overlooked my entire life. Do you always have to see the forest through the trees? This was shot with a 4x5 camera and a 200mm lens.

Your labor of love is rewarded with what you have presented this evening to us. I miss the days I carried my 4 x 5 and even an 8 x 10 on long hikes - those were the days. It is good to see the tradition still lives on. Thank you for sharing. egmont
