Description

I worked with clear light to make it realistic. Hope it works. Thanks for viewing, all comments are welcome :)

Very stunning realism! If the intention was to look like Lucy Liu, then even more amazing- down to the freckles!

the light and realism of this portrait are excellent, as others have already noted. i like the quirk of expression she has, but i think it would be nice if she was a bit more engaged with the viewer since she's obviously aware of the viewer. i love the formal updo and earrings; they work very well together. her skin is just beautiful. but the proportions of her features are off somehow. i'd say it might be helpful to find a specific picture you like and use it as a general reference. and does vue have smoothing? i ask because i can see the polygons in her shoulders at the peak of their bend. very nicely done.

Very good texture, very realistic. The reflection in her eyes and the bumpiness of her eye painting look great. I love the slightly bent pose of the neck and head, it's very realistic. But because of this bend you forgot to put the earrings vertical. The earrings are following the head, and not gravity, if you know what I mean.

I really like the texture. Agree with Rutra regarding a little more accurate gravity on the earrings. Shoulders have a bit of polygon pointy-ness to them, you may want to make sure Smooth Polygons is checked when you render. If you can make the AO "shadow" thrown by the necklace a little more intense, that would be good, it's almost too hard to see. I don't know how practical that is because it looks like it's already set pretty intense on the torso, looking at the straps of her top.

The texture is very realistic. I agree about the shoulder polygons, they should be smoothed - but I think Vue does not offer that. I would add that the section directly above the eye seems a little bit bumpy to me - maybe lower the bumpmaps there? All in all, a good picture of a wonderful character.
