You have absolutely nailed the skin! It looks extremely realistic. This is among the best I have ever seen. Truly excellent work on your part. I do have a slight problem with her eyes and her hair. They do not look realistic.

The lighting is great, the character beautifull. A perfect picture, maybe with the exeption of the hair. It could need a displacement map or something like that, it simply looks solid like a helmet. Very close to perfection.

As far as the hair, you could use the trans, or texture map as a bump map. I've done that before. Depends on the look of the maps, but you can get really good results that way, playing around. While goofing around in the material room, if you could darken the eyebrows to match the hair, I think It might look a little better. Other than that...DAMN! This is ONE FINE picture! Wooooohooooo! I agree with the 'Close to perfection' comment. Achingly close! Whoa! ^__^ v,,

Shadows from the necklace look fabulous, and excellent job getting it so snug against the body with no clipping at all. There is a tiny bit of pointy corner on the shoulders (render with smoothing) and the texture has stretched, leaving a visible line. Very minor, I think you could just smudge that line a tiny bit and one wouldn't notice. The eye pupils look a trifle metallic, which may have been intended. The skin texture in general looks VERY good and unique! A nice, subtle bit of freckles!

Hi! A very impressive face. The eyes....may be that you have used textures for the pupil and iris with already reflections composed on it? Try the old way and build a separate reflection map (windows, lamps, studio reflectors, etc.),lay it over the eyesurface, leave the rest of the color textures for iris, cornea, pupil etc. flat and increase specularity (to get additional highlights of your lights in the scene) until you find it o.k. But I like this image and the face. Good job. Regards Jochen

Lovely character and lighting. Over all, an excellent portrait. Criticisms are: Eye white is too white and the reflections in the eye and brightness on the iris make them look a bit like glass eyes. The hair is a weakness since it is so obviously not real.

Really like the result of this work, agree with Jovial about the hair and the eye details...

Beautifully composed portrait, superb lighting. Hair and eyes are detracting from the realism. Stunning character.

Excellent work and very realistic. I love the skin texture. The way the light shines from the left side makes this picture very interesting. Except for the eyes - a bit to much shiny - no other comments.

Something wrong with the eyes, I agree, looks like the iris is popping out of the eye socket. Maybe becasue the eyes are too wide open, and have too much reflections. About the hair, there is a simple way to make it look better, and that's a trick I learned from Jim Coe (JC), double click the hair object, and in the object editor, reduce the phong smoothing angle to somewhere between 20 and zero. Skin looks very good, and I love the soft naturtal shadows.

Excellent, very realistic, except for the noticeable texture seam on her left shoulder, otherwise nice skin.

A great image and I love the lighting and the skin. I don't know if it is V4 or not but I have often noticed that the iris is often set too high and you can see too much white below it.

Others have already addressed the eyes, so I won't. The skin is fabulous:) The pose and facial expression are wistful. Great job.
