Thank you with all my heart for this beauty.. We are so blessed that creatures live close by us, with us, visit us. They are never afraid of our gentle footsteps upon their earth. I have just been watching Mr Badger in my front garden tonight. First time this YEAR!! He lifted his head to the moonlight.. White stripes glistened upon his beautiful face. :-) It is then that I know how wonderful my life is. I nearly write a book. Good observation, Janiss..because she is the runt of the herd she is always wary of everything around her. So she always has that famous "deer in the headlights" look. This particular time though she was just waiting for me to give her her rolled oats and molassas. She gets a lot of peanuts and apples with this look...lol lee

a man that plays Santa Claus has several deers and he thought a male was the most tame, but after several years the male attacked him because a doe was in heat and he felt threatened. he held the buck for quite a while until he got attention of someone to call for help.he had a puncture wound in one leg,but it could have been his torso. they are beautiful animals and an excellent capture
