Description

Modelled using the car rim tutorial in Blendermagazine 8 Rendered in Indigo 0.7 test 5 overnight at 1400*1100 with one mesh light that is lightning the scene from underneath. have a slight mirror finnish in the ceiling so the light gets on top too. Material for the rims are aliminium (al.nk) Other materials is just blender materials. All set in a box with black walls and a greyish floor. Post work in gimp using selective blur to get rid of the grain, adding border and text before rezising it and posting it here :)

I like the image style; the lighting, composition, layout, etc. are great. But I think it would be vastly improved if it didn't have obvious polygon angles in it--try turning subsurf up, maybe?

)
