Description

My intention was to create an image somewhat reminiscent of Dali's surrealist paintings. The light on the kneeling figure does not come from the Sun in the background, but from the Cross. The birds are symmetrical lattices, hand-drawn and used as silhouettes to give the appearence of different angles of flight. This was the first image I did a 6000x4000 pixel render of - rotating the camera 90 degrees around the z axis, and rendering in portrait layout, in order to bypass Bryce 5's 4000-pixel width limit.

Looks great, it has an excellent surreal quality look about it, very nice effect and composition!
