Description

Edisnova City, Inthandonia. Morning light spreads as the city comes to life. The Royal Palace looms over all, except of course, for the Wizard's Tower. Sky made with Vue (Thanks to the Willow Grove) and Horse model is from TurboSquid (yes there are two horses in this scene)- both items have been extensively tweak by me. Everything else was modelled by me with tS 6.6 or tS 7.11 (Wizard's Tower and trees). Followers of my work will recognize a few of my older models in this scene. Thanks for the kind and supportive words everyone - it's certainly very encouraging to get such positive feedback. I'm also very pleased to announce that this image was selected as the winner of Caligari.com's monthly gallery competition. Yay! @criss - I've spent a lot of time experimenting with water textures and materials in trueSpace - check out my other work to see what I mean. This particular material is very basic - it's a single plain with a procedural bump and using the tS mirror reflectance shader. Water often takes on the colours of the things it reflects so it's comparatively easy to do in a scene like this were no transparency is required. Hope this helps.
