Ultrafractal 4.03 - Photoshop 7 Here's a neat(?) fractal shape I came up with using the "SpiraBrot" formula in as.ufm and some of Toby's fun Doodads II. Kinda weird shapes like cell division or egg fertilization. Or, another way I looked at it almost made me think it was saying its name was "Javastones" because it looks also maybe like coffee beans....or it could have been it was early morning and the coffee machine wasn't done yet - lol. A neat thing to try is to make textures in UF and overlay them in Photoshop while using a filter like "emboss" or others on the texture layer. Thanks for stopping by! I think it must have been the coffee machine making you think of the beans you need for making the good stuff. I say that becaus e the first thing that came to my mind when i saw the image was: very mystical garlic :D Great image!! Btw I use Paintshop, but indeed it is fun playing with some filters on the layers, and surely if you make use of the different merge modes (just love 'difference' & 'exclusion'!

Fantastic! I love the very limited palette, it gives the image a brooding mood. The textures are terrific, very rocky/stony. I especially love the background wavy shapes with holes, fascinating to look at :)
