Description

I was looking at this and I know shadows will run paralls to each other. with nature. I got to look at shadows more. Here you see one is bent toward me. Is it just me or my camera len is off[ you know defected] or is the law of paralles[ for depths of pictures] is in play here??? - this was taken at Lake martin end of last month - thanks for all looking and comments

Really cool capture of this stark vista, Jocko! Love the silhouetting! And, your camera lens is not off, it's just a matter of perspective. You'll notice that aberration of cast shadows when manipulating your light source while doing your Bryce creations.

If you look further back on the left, those trees are casting their shadows to the left too. I think it's just where the sun was and perspectives. Very cool early spring photo!

It's just the swamp curse!! Take photo of it in Moonlight and see what happens!!! This is very nice Jocko. I really like the swamps, not the skeeters, but the swamp is a special place!!!

Great shadows Jock! The sun must have been quite low to get them that long :)

I doubt if it's anything with your camera, or more of the shadows would be bent. Nice spooky landscape.

I don't know, but it looks very cool! Don't know of anything bad that would happen if you are touched by a tree shadow, maybe you'd just feel cooler. lol q-: Lovely shot! (:

As the tree is bent so grows the shadow.

I believe that the effect of the parallel shades and one that is not it on the earth floor is due to that the first tree of the left has a slight inclination toward that side. It is an excellent and creative shot Jock....!!!

As Good Ole Boy says, it's just the perspective making the shadows appear to not be parallel. Beautiful shot, Jock!
