Description

We heard them first, like thunder. The ground shaking beneath our feet. I looked through the turret periscope and stared in horror. At first all I could see were the Scout Walkers, scurrying around like birds. Then I saw the first of the heavy vehicles. We were going to die...

I'm not a huge Star Wars fan, but I like scenes that hit me in the face with a 'WOW!', and I wanted to recreate that feeling. In all three original films, for me the battle on Hoth was the finest scene. Both Death Star battles were great, but space is too big a canvas for something like that hits me in the face...unless it's the Enterprise in her drydock in Star Trek: the Motionless Picture.

Excellent scene. What software did you do your models in? I didn't see any references or credits. For someone who doesn't particularly like Star Wars you did some enormous Star Wars-related modeling work here.
