My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

What a neat shot Tara...gives a real sense of movement with the engine blurry and the rest in focus....sure is purty, too, in yer neck of the woods :o) Now I searched the dim recesses of my memory and couldn't come up with what the poetic form is??? Hope you have a most wunderbar Saturday ! ~ Hugzzzzz ~

Ok, this is so COOL!!! I love the blur (showing movement) and the yellow/black frame reminds me of the railroad crossing signs. A stroke of genius hon...well done!!!!

A wonderful shot, Tara. Love the motion blur, really gives the feeling of speed. I can honestly say I have never seen a train this long, the sound must be awesome. Love the verse too... I apolgise for not knowing the poet. Happy evening. Hugs. Diane.

Oops! The poet was yours truly - I wrote it myself, specifically for this image. Sorry! I'm used to posting in the writer's gallery, where everyone knows it's all original work!

I live maybe 1/2 mile from some very busy tracks with freight and Amtrak. between it and a railroad staging area it is noisy with the windows open. I like the blur from the motion

Wonderful capture Tara. I live near the trains myself and love the sound (Of course I am just "far enough" away!) I love the blur for motion, and the wispy green that is starting to emerge in your neck of the woods! Excellent!

Great shot Tara..I love trains...You can see that it was a very long train...My husband and I took a couple of train trips, it was so cool...I know who the poet with the cap is...Do I get a prize.

Beautiful shot. Their is just something about trains that touches everyones soul. And I am sure who ever the poet is, is a very handsome man. lol
