Description
Love stories captured on film... some fade... but the good ones live on in your heart forever...
There is always one line spoken... one image that hits home... and makes you cry. Not only the first time... but every time you ever see it. Over and over again. I call them "open heart surgery moments"... and I love them... :)
And I love you guys and gals, too. Thank you for everything!
Ultra Fractal... no postwork.
Hugs!
Helen :)

That's a very different kind of fractal. Nice work.

Even though many movies are silent the feelings are clearly communicated. Images flicker on the screen, the words conveyed but never heard; only the heart truly understands. Magnificent work, it's good to see you again!

This is lovely, and reminds me very much of Janet Parke's "Meander".

Splendid work! You have created your own "open heart surgery" moment, and this black and white beauty could be a tribute to "Casablanca".
mansco

Gorgeous B/W work, Helen. Lovely marbling structure on the flowerhearts/circles. And look, you don't have to texture flowers all over to make an impression. The fact that they're not textured makes them stand out even more. Well done! "and makes you cry. Not only the first time... but every time you ever see it. Over and over again. I call them "open heart surgery moments"... and I love them..." There are also images that just hurt, over and over again. Definitely open heart surgery but not sure if I love it... Sorry for this gloomy respond.

This brings back nostalgic memories of shooting roll after roll of film, now replaced with shooting chip after chip. To those of us over 40, a strip of film represents so many memories, from those stale home movies on super 8, to the smell of popcorn and our favorite love story, horror film, or comedy from the past. Being created in B+W is another very nice touch. Thanks, Helen. You did it again ;-)
