Superb! A very Floydian landscape, bleak and dark, the only light coming from the bittersweetness of the fruit that some love and some do not. The starkness of the two trees on the dark and barren soil speaks of the late spring darkness, the impending storms that follow one after another making April indeed the cruelist month. But the lemons foretell summer when still alone we can at least enjoy the warmth and sunshine.

The colours bring a sense of Spring and its freshness.This brings up the fragrance with its brilliant use of colours. Such a beautiful way to make us sigh............aaahh.....the change of season. Thank you.

Artistic and excellent work, Helen! Superbly composed and colored. Love the depth you create with the background, and the detail is delicious. Sheesh- that Richard! Now, "lemon tree very pretty and the lemon flow is sweet, but the fruit of the poor lemon is impossible eat" is going 'round and 'round in head. Peter, Paul and Mary? Most of the kids around here are too young to have it go round in their heads. Excellent, charming work!

It's a great idea and makes a beautiful decorative design :) The texture on the leaves and lemons is amazingly realistic, and so are the shapes themselves! The colour contrast is lovely.
