Description

If you're ever nuts enough to try and cycle up Honister Pass from Seatoller to the slate mine, you will have gained about 500 feet in altitude in half a mile, with another half mile to go to the top. A good time for a rest, in other words. There's a little stream that runs down one side of the pass (they call them "Gills" up there for some reason), which is great to splash you face in while you... reoxygenate. If you've lugged your camera & tripod up there, you are allowed a longer rest. Lucky me! So, 'Somewhere & Nowhere', about 8 miles from Keswick, Cumbria, UK. Thanks for looking & any comments - and of course a very Happy Easter! ~Steve (a.k.a. 'Walnut Thighs' after this !!)~ Canon 20D @F22, 1/8s, ISO 100, tripod.
