Description

Why is it all the best playgrounds are places that you aren't allowed to go? Poser4 with a single white light (like 90% of all my pictures) Then turned into a cartoon in Photoshop7. Just about everything comes from PoserWorld except hair and figures. I'm getting into the cartoon thing quite a bit and want to produce something along the lines of the old 'War Picture Library' comics.

My first impact when looking at the image, even before reading your words, was that nostalgia from my childhood comics (some decades ago...). This has exactly the same mood and style. Great job, keep up!

Very clean lines in that background. Industrial set? Great perspective, but maybe breaking up some of those straight lines might add some dimension or atmosphere to the set.

The postwork style on this image really give me the sense that the two kids are not only off on an adventure, but that they are entering another dimension. Very good work!

Great image. I thought it was ink and pen until I read your explaination.

That's very very cool, if you're going for a woodcut look you've just about got it. It must be damn hard to catch all that expression on only one light. Given the style, I have absolutely nothing negative to say, really nifty image.

This looks more like a pencil or ink drawing than a cartoon. I really like it. It reminds me of illustrations from those old mysteries, The Hardy Boys, and Nancy Drew.
