Description
I did this one about 15 years ago. Funny what you can find in old boxes. This was a lesson I learned in trying to put too much detail into a watercolor painting. I love a lot of good detail but yikes! In watercolor? The image itself is from an late 80's or early 90's Dungeon and Dragons game. It's the kind of cover art that really got me interested in drawing in the first place.

Wow, awesome image! I am a big AD&D fan too and it was also a big inspiration for me as well. I must admit since picking up the digital paintbrush, my arylic and watercolors have been boxed up. It's not a bad thing though, as I always was a better computer nerd than a painter anyways, lol. Your painting is in great condition after all those years!

Man that is great! I've been roleplaying since the late 70's and art like this is fantastic! Well done - most impressive!

Lord Soth? Very cool. You can paint in water colour much better than I can. Great work, even if it was 15 years ago. Cheers.
