Description

~Who's Looking Out At You Looking In~ IMPORTANT: About my editing process: I DO NOT add colours, tones or casts. When I do do this you can clearly see it as in my last post which was edited to B&W and simple blending of layers took care of the tones for me. The pinks, purples, oranges and blues are all natural in this image. NO COLOURS ADDED. All colours are simply enhanced by curves and saturation after correcting shadows and noise in ACR Raw editer. I felt the need to point these facts out as I digitally darkroom not digitally manipulate.

Well... however it is done, it is lovely. You do what you feel is right because it is YOURS. I like it.

Hello Vera... Thank you for explaining your point! But here is a thing that many others don't know... When you add tones, saturations, enhance colours and such, either in a dark room [digital or none] the changes at the end, is what we call manipulation! Enhancement is: to remove some dust from your shot which were caused by the lens, or remove some little skin issues and sort of things! And that is the really difference between both: enhancement and manipulation! I know that you won't get mad at me by telling your this so thats why i had the explain the right thing dear.. Either way, manipulated or enhanced or even both! What is the result! That what makes the viewer go crazy when he/she look at the final result! Your shots been always very good tho! And thats what i like about you and your art..sigh! Back to the subject now.. I love the shot! the scene is so calm and beautiful! Your composition and POV is really excellent dear... And very well done one the sky to! I just love the rainbow shades of all these beautiful colours! Thank you and just keep your work up. Happy easter and happy weekend dear Vera JOE

Thanks for the helping hand in terms there Yaguar :D Now I won't be getting confused anymore. I was thinking that manipulation is more, added into images things that weren't there to start with like colours, moons, lens flare, water, shadows, stars, mist, birds in the sky things like that. I suppose I'll have to relook my whole onset now, but not right now ;) Seriously I'll not change what I've been doing and at the same time won't go into adding items that weren't in the scene to start off with. This is such a beautiful scene. I know what you mean about digital manipulation and I do the same as you - I use my computer in the same way as I would use my 'wet' darkroom. Brilliant capture. Keep up the good work. EILEEN *****

I really like the black lace of the trees and the colours of the sky, but I find the lights in the buildings a little bright for my taste. Great composition.
