Description

~Pick Your Colour Pull It And Play For The Team~ Before you hit me with, I can still see blue and green in the image, those have been desaturated and all you see is a result of the red and yellow blends. I know the border/framing/deign is extreme. It's an experiment - tell me what you think...

I think this is a very cool shot Vera! I really like the POV and the angle! Reminds me of one of Mayda's shots if i remember! Now i don't know what exactly you meant by red and yellow! I can see normal nice colours here. The only thing i am against is your grungy border.. Its kinda distracting tho.. Maybe because of the center line! Eh! Or maybe its just me :) Other then that, the font you used, i guess it needs more dark images to placed on! It reminds me of the VAMPIRE 3000 Movie.. LOL! I totally forgot about VAMP! So if you like it, then its a different matter here.. But it can be blended abit more with the background.. In a different meaning, reduce the opacity a bit for that text layer(s). The contrast is awesome tho! Specially when it goes from total dark on the far left to more colours and more contrast to the right! Very well done, and hope to see whats next now.... And oh! Thank you for the comment on my last FIGURE! Its appreciated honey as usual... But i have a question, what did you mean by its not as sharp! Are you sure that your screen/monitor is working fine! Because in many cases it can cause a lot of colours/blur issues tho.. And also i used a center weighted Average metering mode which is so hard to get.. Anyway.. That shot has only two spots of focus :D Hugs, hugs and hugs Ms. Vera and will see ya around, i guess people are getting more and more warm in/on the thread tho! A lot of true words coming out now..Sigh! Now i feel like ~~~~~> kat9.gif JOE

Tx Yaguar - I was worried when putting the line in the centre, I liked the break but it's on of those things that I'll look back and and think "WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING". I suck so badly at the blending thing - I'll have to get the master to teach me :D Maybe I didn't find the two focal points - I think it's my eyes... Hee Hee

I love the POV and the advertisment in a metro can be seen from outside...nice touch. About a border, I don't mind if a bit different than a "traditional" bordering. I am not found of a cuting a cross thou...it is a good subject, well captured and I would like to see it in "one piece".

Hey Vera, Interesting shot here. Before I read Joe's interpretation I want to say what I see. Of course the first thing that jumps out is the white line down the middle. My thought is you did that on purpose. So... is it because the guy on the right is a real living but glum looking guy and the guy on the left is a poster image happy smiling guy? In that case, it makes sense for the obvious separation because of the contrast of the mood from left to right. The title makes sense too cuz you've got the yellow horizontal line leading the eye to the red, which really stands out. So now I read Joe's words and he says.. "grungy" lol. Ciao.. Jodie

First: The photo is excellent ! Great mastering of the underground light, very dynamical composition, thanks to the deep perspective and the presence of the man at the foreground. Second: Excellent postwork and original framing that add a true artistical touch. Great work, superb picture !

These white paints borders waste a bit! IMHO, I doesn't see desatured colors here! I prefer the " constructive " and "subjective" comments rather than your comment under my pict : "the thumbnail looked more promising..."!!!!!!

I like the image and postwork makes it look just like a poster from the tube. Not keen on the break in the middle but thats only me :)

Great shot!! Love the wide angle, but would prefer the center line not to have been there! Hope you are doing well! 8;o)

i'm going to say that i like the break in the middle - it just seems to add a little extra to the image, although it might have been better a little further on to the right - so that each side would be a veritable picture in it's own right: one of the waiting person, the other of the.. whatever it is... that isnt the train is it? =S. I like the postwork you have achieved here too...

I really like this image as a whole. While I'll say I don't see the desaturation - I think that was your point - to NOT see it and be led thru the image by the yellow to the red which works well. As far as the border - before reading your description I saw an image full of clean lines - vertical and angled - and the "border" worked very well for me as a general element - adding an organic element to a very clean lined image. Well done!

This blows my mind! LOL. Really though, love the color play you did here and I also like the bordering. Though I would like to see it without the break. Never the less, another fine work and joy to look at.
