Description

for the trees... Sorry I haven't visited your images recently. Personal projects have kept me from Terragen activities during the past several weeks. The above image is more of a learning experience than an artistic scene; trying many different settings to achieve these results. The picture was rendered through the 'Quick Render' format rather than the Full Render format since the Full format would not allow the tree shadows to show up. Thanks to Jay Testerman for sharing his ideas on making this a better picture than what it first started out to be ...enjoy.

The leaves jump out nicely, Bob. I agree with Linda about the perspective, very cool. Hope things wrap up so you can keep up this good work!

J'accroche pas sur ces arbres qui ne semblent vraiment pas faire partie du paysage, le Pov est bon ainsi que le terrain et l'atmo !!

Wondering if ya fell off the planet, Bob - I haven't gotten object placements to suit my tastes yet, but you gotta try, and this is a good one!

the trees look great, Bob....populations are complex...and it can be hit or miss, trying to get 'what you want'...yet, perseverence brings success!

For some reason I did not get a notice you posted this, Bob. Looks more like you can hardly see the sky for the trees and wonder how they grow in such a barren land! I got lucky on my 1st Th2 render and have not produced anything I'd post since so I don't have a clue on how you did this. I'm not that impressed with the way the software works and am having too much fun with other programs. Happy Easter.

Dry and dusty looking Bob. Love the terrain and POV, your clouds are excellent, nice and soft. Perfect for this look. Excellent work on the surfaces. The trees suit, the shadows just right.

AGree the point of view is excellent. Love the close up of the tree - top right. My only comment would be that you would expect to see some ground cover maybe or some dropped leaves just below the trees apart from that I think this is a particularly realistic piccy. I like that you haven't gone overboard with the trees, the distribution is good and the surfacing of the dirt is also fabulous. Can we see this piccy "After the rain" .......... Keep it up Bob, you've done a great job for someone with so little time. More please!!
