Description

7 hours rendering on quad core processor. The jaggies on the texture map are there because I hand made the mat with a chisel and hammer. lol Enjoy.

Wow nice scorpion Baby! I like all the little details. When I enlarged it there seems to be a few loose wires and things (on the critters front right leg & on his front left foot) but thats just superficial critiquing lol. Youre getting so good, its getting harder and harder to spot any flaws. The scorpion really is very clever. Did you make it yourself hon?

Sweet! I Like the detail. LOL you went really old school on creating the floor. You gave me an Idea for a Carton. A caveman standing on a cliff tossing slabs of stone. In the foreground two other caveman. Caveman #1 What is, He doing? Caveman #2 Deleting test Renders Bad thing is I cant do a Cartoon to Save my Life.

lol. I understand not being able to do someting quite well. I cant do a scene to save my life, be it cartoon or anything. I am stuck to simple modeling and object presentation, basically. But i do what i do, and I enjoy doing it :)

Incredibly, marvelously well done. Savant, was the model created by you?, if yes you reached the degree of master of Bryce with primitive forms. Congratulations x 1000.

No no, i didn't model this, and I do not have any idea who did...found it on a old computer hard drive. Actually looks pretty easy to model, but I would never have dreamed it up in a million years! When I first saw your work Thandaluz, and tried to duplicate it, that began my modeling experience. But you my friend, dreamed it up, and I discovered in the process that modeling is not really that tough, you merely have to think through processess and be precise. Now that I know I could model pretty much anything, I am working on developing other skills. I re-textured this model to use in order to further my understanding of HDRI. Every post I make is to highlight some technical process I am trying to master; and every now and then it comes out kinda artsy, quite by accident. My idea though of "artsy", is to achieve a sense of realism in scale, form, and rendered output. As such, I am "object" oriented, and not so much scene oriented. So, hope you liked the render! lol
