Description
This is a photo of a Monstrance in front of the Tabernacle. (The monstrance is the ceremonial vessel used in during the Roman Catholic Mass to display the consecrated communion host.)
Behind it is some lovely stained glass. I took this photo for an 8x10 page of the directory I worked on over the summer. It was also made into a very large mosiac and framed to hang in the church.
I did enhance the colors by adding a bit more pinks and reds, plus played with the saturation a bit. The "star" in the middle, where the Body of Christ is housed, is a lens flare. All manipulations done in PS2.

OMG Jodie! What a place! I really love all the textures in this shot, specially how the cross is made!!! Abit noisy, but never mind honey.. I know how hard to shoot such places with low light and flash :) Thank you for the share and have a nice day JOE
