Description

Playing around out on the pier in St Andrews... this was originally an experiment lighting up the shot against the sunset with a flash, but it didnt work as i liked, but this one did - polariser stacked with an ND8 filter ;) Thanks for taking a look. Enjoy! Rich

WOW!! This is stunning shot Rich! Love how your experiment turned out! the PL filter played a big roll here tho! The only thing i don't get, why the pov is so sharp with everything else in the shot [Excluding the DOF] but not the flying hair and some of the model's left part! to us is the right tho! Thank you for sharing your art Mr. and wish you a happy easter's monday! JOE

Now I LOVE this shot - don't know why, I just know I love it! The silhouette, the deep blue sky, shadow, light - not sure what it is that draws me to it, but it has that something special!! Great shot, great experiment. xx

You did great on this shot Rick, I love the siluetted sitting girl with a flying hair. Such a nice evening sky I would composed it without a cloud thou, but this is my taste only.

I really like the colors of the sky in this photo and it's a wonderful idea for a shot but I was wondering whether the white line around the black part is from postworking the sky or if one of the filters may have caused it. As a whole the photo does communicate the title perfectly.
