Description

Ultrafractal 4.03 (eggs and bkgd.) -- Apophysis 2.05b2-Z+ (plants) -- Composed/layered in Photoshop 7 Happy Easter, y'all! Yeah, it's getting up here pretty late - been spending all day having to render all of the ton of flames in this pic since the current Apo translation ucl doesn't handle some of the new variations in Apo. Namely "curl", which was one of the ones used in these flames. Bummer! What a lot of work! These are the best "plant" flames I've ever made and it was a drag I couldn't composite this in UF. Ah well, I appreciate a lot the ton of work that has been already done to keep the Apo/UF link mostly still open and I DID get really good at scaling, moving and rotating in PS with all the practice, so that's a good thing! There's always some little - or not so little - good thing in any experience we have if we just look for it... as shown by the incredibly good thing that came three days later that was caused by the "bad thing" that happened on Good Friday 2007 years ago :-) The background is a tweak of one of Joie's old UF images. Here's a link to her gallery - http://excalibur.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/browse.php?username=gargoyle84 I got to play around with the "smudge" tool to sorta blend it in some. Kinda fun. Anyhow, I wish you all a very happy Easter holiday - arguably the most important event in the history of mankind, imo. :-) Thanks for stopping by and watch out you don't step in the egg dye I spilled! lol Rick ***(Fine art giclee' prints of most of my work are available in limited edition on archival paper or canvas - e-mail: drahcir3@hotmail.com and get busy filling that empty spot on the wall! Unique, "one-of-a-kind" (edition size = 1) prints are also available*** :-)

A marvelous image, and sure all the work wasn't for nothing!! What I really like is that you mixed golgotha and eggs in one image wich you don't see very often!! Btw did you ever hear this joke about what happened about 2007 years ago? When Jesus was on the cross, he saw Paul the apostle between the audience, he called out to him, and Paul tried to get to the cross but the romans damaged him severely each time he did that. But Jesus kept calling him, and so finally Paul gets through and asks: "What is it master? Why did you call me?". And Jesus replied:"Well Paul, from this height, I can see your house!!!" Great day to you, and smudge on! :D

These are not just Eggs, they are Rykk's Eggs. Sorry this is my terrible English humour. One of our better department stores known for its approach to quality runs adverts under the concept " These are not just ......, they are M & S ......" This is a beautifully composed image, and it's good to see Apo being so well used.
