Interesting... is that the warmth of a mirror beneath - that shows the true size of the one gazing - so close - within... with only one eye - while the other eye observes what might come near...... Another interesting piece - open to interpretaion - in an inviting manner.

Mysterious. Beautiful. Interesting. Very unique painting. The atmosphere is somehow deeply dark and a little weird but the warm yellow brings the sun and life into it; there is hope! Really lovely use of colours and tones! Great image!

Wonderful stylized portrait. Interesting title, Jill. I see some apprehension in the face, rather as if she is hoping but not convinced. I think there is an element needed in hope...belief. That would change the countenance to one a bit more positive. Approaching your painting with the first sense, I have to say it is spot on! Excellent work. Hugs, Suzanne
