Hey and welcome! My name is Brandy and I must tell you I'm obsessed with my camera. Whether its taking pictures of myself (as I often do...their terrible lol) or making my friends pose for me, I love using my camera. I have a Canon Rebel XT and I edit with Photoshop CS2.
I'm happily married (you may come across a picture or two of our wedding day in my gallery), and have been for three years.
I've been interested in photography ever since my freshman year of high school. I am currently a photo major in my 2nd semester of college. I've been using my Canon 35mm much more because of school, I sure do miss my Rebel. It's nice to go back and re-learn everything. Nothing is more "centering" than making a print in the dark room.
I've started studying color photography. I'm such a fan of black and white, I wasn't sure if I'd like color. This class has made me appreciate the colors nature gives us, and to realize that I can get emotion out of color and not just black and white. I hope to do well and do something with my education.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoy my work as much as I have.

Awesome concept and compo in this! Thing that I don't like in it though is how you are in the shadow like that. Intentional or not I'm unsure but still a cool shot! Thanks for sharing! ^_^

That is actually not me in the shadow. I do believe that is her own shadow. If you look at the profile you can see it's her. Thanks for the comments everyone! :^)

nice concept, to me a bit to dark, pity the image is small.....but still like the idea and shot

Excellent, like the composition!

i like the composition, too. it's impossible to tell at this size, but are the cracks in the paint reflected in her glasses? because that would make a wonderful integration of elements.

very classic compo, but i still like the idea... so... it's really not sharp on the face + a little bit more of contrast ??

Last week I was on holiday, shooting the Venetian Carnival in Corbeil, visiting Paris or attending a photo training in South Belgium therefore, the LWitG collage (Last Week in the Gallery - week 15/2007) is a great feature to catch up with all the wonderful images missed Great B&W photography ! Congratulations for your selection !
