Description
An attempt at a portrait of John Coltrane, one of the brilliant jazz musicians of the 50s and 60s. Several years ago, I did a Poser portrait of Miles Davis and it came out pretty close. This one was hard to do. Got the face as close as possible in DAZ Studio, then basically painted over it, in Photoshop, using photo references. Of course most all the details were lost in shrinking the image for web use.
Used Dreamlight's Studio Light Pro. Made the chair, found the sax a long time ago on the net.
