Description

Previous version Mystery girl, as we know now, is jjroland from the forum. It's a morph of a real person's face, so most of the credit goes to her :) Shown here is V4, with Aery_Soul's breathtaking Jolie Fille Hair. Rendered in Poser 7, postwork in Photoshop. Significant changes: - A problem with the Emma eye mats is that the reflection is baked into the pupil/iris textures; they were the wrong color anyhow. At the advice of jjroland (the owner of this fine human face) I went with DM Nanette's eye materials, which she tells me is a good match for her own eyes. I'm a lot happer with this version, although I did put a wiggle on one of the blood vessels in the eye white by postwork (it was very straight). - For a skin material with such a heavy makeup look, Emma has no eyeliner; so I added some by postwork. - The lipstick here is a little more natural and less obtrusive, but still more obviously makeup than I would like, but I didn't like the look of other material sets and how they blended with this one; I'm reasonably satisfied after some minor smoothing - I spent more time postworking the hair - I'm sure I could do better, but I'm not very good at postwork. A lot to learn, learned some here! The big trick is Liquefy to pull the corner into a smoother curve. - Different top... I told her I'd keep clothes on her ;) - Higher rez... not really necessary but I like high rez Something to be aware of when using a morph like this, where the nose is wider than default: the eyes give up a little room for the bridge of the nose. This is good in that a frequent complaint about V4 is that her eyes are too big; it's a bit tricky though when moving the eyes around, because they end up a trifle wall-eyed, which may be what was bugging some people in the last version. I manually posed one of the eyes to get them lined up. Enjoy, comments welcome, although I don't think I'll revise this one any further. Any who are interested in the settings for the nose, since several people commented on that for the last version: download.php?fileid=29257&key=4006

Lovely portrait. The eyes are gorgeous. My only crit would be the straps of the top: as they come from the back of the neck they look great, but the one on the right seems to go "flat" as it moves forward - is it perhaps slightly cutting into the skin? I love the way the background now picks up the eye colour.

Yeah, if I'd beem smart I would have postworked in a little bit of shadow there :/ Good catch, won't happen again.

Tho it's to bad there won't be further revisions, it looks way better. The eyes fit better with this face and the lips are less distracting. Looks good... :)

This just blows me away!! I have been trying to do a "Real" face in Poser for a long time, but I guess I just don't have the skills yet. Very much improved from the first version. Fantastic!! Jay

Hi! This is a great portrait. Lovely character and impression. Very unique and everything to let the standard V4 comes through is to my opinion eleminated. I share the opinion with the eyes of V4 too, because I think they are really to big in the basic version and I ever have to make then smaller to fit the proportions. A small comment to the straps. I would try ambient occlusion or the Occlusion Master to get a little shading to the skin like in reality. Makes it not so flat and cutting into skin, like karen wrote. Thats the only thing for me. Excellent work and incredible morph. Thanx for the settings for the nose. I like to try them out ;o) Regards Jochen

I like it, and I really appreciate your notes on how it was created, and the morphs used. Very useful for those of us playing around with V4.

She's a really stunning beauty. The eyes are so much better in this version. Damn near perfect. Minor issues, for me, are the front of the left strap and the right nostril - that looks a little too red, as if she had a recent nose-bleed.

Fantastic job! It's way harder to emulate reality. Fantasy and imagination are much more forgiving.

excelent job... I can't stop staring at her eyes. I love the little bit of white at the bottom of them giving them a very realistic moist effect. Is that a pst work add? Amazing! R

Wow, V4 looks like a real person! Great work on this morph, and a wonderful portrait. I haven't laid a cursor on V4 yet, and am not familiar with her (except for promo pictures). This could be an ad for the realism one can achieve with her. Great job!
