Very romantic and fanciful. Very much like some anime film I've seen.

A lovely idea :) - perhaps a little work with some more shadows
RoseMoxon
ty bea, shadows are definitely not my strong point... will give it a go

I like the feel of this work. I'm not sure that it would benefit from much shadowing, since it is backlit. If you were to use shadows, either you would have them heading into the sunset, or you would end up with the figures poorly illuminated. The only suggestion I can think of, for the composition, is you might want to lower the camera a little an look up toward the figures slightly. Also, the cut-off balloon on the right is a little distracting, I would bring it in a little, or remove it. I love the poses and expressions.

I think it is very good and great composition, a little more shadows may be good. I would think about 'winding' up her hair a tad. You have done an excellent job on it. :o)

Though i like this fanciful image, i'm having some conflict with the lighting. The sky is backlit, sky behind them, yet their "Fronts" facing us are bright. This could work if there was a light "figure' in the foreground, such as a lantern or something of the like.
Dryden
ya agreee woth the above, but still i love the scene

I agree with Tiari. Lighting is not very consistent. And not very dramatic. I think some soft light from the side and a rim light from the back would look nicer. The sky BG seems a bit low-rez when seen in full-size view.

A really lovely, perky pose on the girl character. Concerns about lighting have already been said. If you have pwSurface for DAZ|Studio, you might try to get ambient occlusion onto the ship's wheel to show a little shadow under the pilot's fingers where he grips the wheel.

Definitely a back lit image. We do not necessarily have to see the source of light that is illuminating the character, but at the very least, we should see the shafts of light which is actually lighting the character up.

very sweet
