Description

Alright...finally a scenic picture from Hawaii. Or more correctly 5 of them. lol. We stayed at the Hale Koa hotel which is right on Waikiki Beach next to the Hilton Hawaiian Village. For those of you who work for DoD or are in the armed forces, it's a great place to stay. Check it out at www.halekoa.com For comparison purposes, an ocean view room at the Hilton was going for nearly $300 while an ocean view room at the Hale Koa ran us $148 while we were there. So...on to the images. The center is the Hotel as you drive up the driveway. Upper left and Lower right are from the balconies we had while there. Lower right is a Partial Ocean View, while upper left is Ocean View. While the Ocean View certainly gets you more ocean to see, the Partial is more than fine in my book. Upper right is the hotel and it's beach from the pier down the beach a bit. The Hotel is the building on the far right and the one two buildings to the left. The lower left picture is from our first room down at the Banyan Tree "Gus" and the courtyard. It was really sort of trippy to me how many buildings in Hawaii seem to be indoors when many times there's just a large overhang on one end or another that's open air so it's actually outdoors. Just a weird feeling if you've never seen it before. Anyway...guess I've rambled on enough about this for now. LOL. More pictures to follow. And hopefully I'll have some time to do some renders sooner or later, though with Christopher's Birthday coming up this weekend, it might still be some time. Thanks for looking and commenting. Funny how these pictures get less comments than rendered babes. LOL :) John

Oh...this is another you'll probably want to click to see fullsized. I wanted to post it bigger, but couldn't get it to reduce in file size enough without lots of artifacts. Might be some here still, but after getting it composited the way I wanted, I was getting it posted somehow! LOL

A beautiful photography composition! I think I have been here as well but it's a long long time ago! Is it the hotel with the dolphins in the pool?

Hotels are expensive there. Love going there but only for a visit. One sure can get lost there, or at least I did. Beautiful collage. Aloha
